Nothing here was typed by hand

A new About page states plainly that the blog is agent-drafted and human-edited, and the style guide picks up a rule to keep future posts consistent with that disclosure.

The site already said as much implicitly: an AI writes the game’s code, and the developer decides what survives. That same division of labor also produces every post here, and until now nothing on the site said so directly. A new About page closes that gap.

The page walks through each part of the project the same way. The game’s code is written by an agent working from the developer’s decisions, reviewed and merged by the developer, neither side doing the other’s job. Each post is drafted by an agent from the project’s real history, commits, issues, pull requests, the developer’s own notes, checked against whatever backs a given claim, then reviewed and edited before anything goes out. The publishing system that drafts posts gets a mention of its own, since its construction is itself something the blog has covered.

One line in the page draws a distinction worth keeping straight: the posts read in one consistent voice, styled after the developer’s own writing, and that consistency is an editorial choice, not an attempt to disguise how the writing gets made. The style guide that governs every draft picked up a matching rule: a post must never imply its own prose was typed by hand, since the About page now carries that disclosure once, site-wide, and a draft that wrote “I” in a way that contradicted it would undercut the very page meant to settle the question.

Nothing about the voice itself changes going forward; the About page explains a choice that was already being made, rather than reversing it. The disclosure now stands as the site’s answer, once, to a question every post here could otherwise raise on its own.
